During the winter season, many mountain accidents occur on Yakushima.

Please remember that the mountains of Yakushima will have snow and icy trails, and you should take the utmost care for your safety.

Only experienced climbers with proper gear should attempt to climb the inner mountains of Yakushima, which include Mt. Miyanoura, Mt. Nagata, and Mt. Kuromi, during the winter season.
