Yakushima’s Mountain Fund-Raising Campaign for 2020We greatly appreciate your cooperation with the World Natural Heritage Site Yakushima’s Mountain EnvironmentalConservation Donation program. The purpose of this fund-raising program is for the conservation of the mountain’s environment and to assure user safety by maintaining the trails and the facilities in the mountains.●maintaining the mountain outhouses.●inspection and minor repairs on the mountain trails and trolley railroad. ●programs and activities related to mountain safety.●operation for Arakawa route trac regulations.●fund-raising administration and other activities related to the conservation of the mountain’s environment.* Please make a donation. You may give your donation at the tourist information centers. * If you donate at least 1,000 yen to this program, you will receive a small gift. This gift can be used as proof  of your donation and you will be entitled to some services from participating businesses around Yakushima. We started a new donation program, the above-mentioned, in 2017. The operation of Arakawa Mountain Bus service is from March 1 to November 30.
