Shitoko Gajumaru Banyan Park is located next to Shitoko Port, about 26 minutes by car (17.2 km) from the airport. It is a unique place where there is a high density of wild banyans that can be seen. You can see many tropical plants such as banyan trees and “Kuwazuimo”, Hawaiian giant taro. Above all, you will be amazed of the gigantic banyan tree over 500 years old.
